Do you often cut and paste links from your web browser to include in
Twitter updates? If yes, then TweetRight will make the task easy for
you. It’s a Chrome extension from Google that lets you instantly tweet
images, links, webpages and selected text from any part of a website.
You can easily send these stuffs right from the Chrome’s context menu.
One of the best thing about it, is that it shortens long URLs using
Twitter’s own service t.co.
From the above screenshot you can see that a picture is being shared from the article “Keep Your Cats From Destroying Your Furniture” to Twitter. After installing TweetRight, a “Post X to Twitter” menu will be added in your right-click context menu. Here X is the type of content like an image, a link, or a text clipping. You’ll find two things, an image and a link. You need to select the one that you want to share.

If you come across an interesting article
and you want to share it on Twitter, then simply select any part of the
article (e.g. title) and tweet it from the context menu. You can also
share any kind of links and images, which is not possible with twitter’s
bookmarklet. In the context menu, you’ll find Tweet This option. When
you click on it, a new window pops-up. It lets you tweet the selected
content after logging in into your Twitter account. To use TweetRight,
you need an early release version of Chrome 6 such as Chrome 6 Beta or
Chrome 6 Dev Channel installed.
